WE SHIP WORLDWIDE!
Carrier:
We use USPS and FedEX as our primary carriers to help ensure quality fast shipping, but sometimes
even with the best carriers, packages can arrive slowly. Please contact us before you place
your order if your package needs to arrive more quickly.
Sooner:
If you need something immediately, let us know before you place your order and
we will do our best to accomodate you.
Timing:
Shipping times during peak season are usually 7-14 business days (you don't count weekends). That means an order placed on the 1st will likely arrive before the 20th.
Note: In order to better serve you we may ship your order in multiple packages.

Disclaimer:
Even with our best efforts, we cannot guarantee when your merchandise will arrive,
or that it will arrive quickly. Also, sometimes items are out of stock. Sometimes merchandise
is out of stock, and when we go to re-stock, we find that the manufacturer has discontinued
the merchandise. When that happens, we will try to promptly email you so that you have options
such as purchasing an alternate item, canceling the order and receiving refund, or canceling the
order and receiving in-store credit.
Communication:
We stay busy and work hard, but we want to get back to you as soon as possible. We usually communicate
by email to you. So wen you communicate with us, please provide us with your email address, your order
number, and a phone number where we can always reach you.
Shipping costs are generated based on rates and can be seen during the check out process.
You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to return any items.
Returns will be accepted for reship, even exchange, or store credit if the items arrive with manufacturer defects or are damaged during shipping.
We inspect every product before shipping, so if the item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately - Do not refuse shipments.
Multiple Packages:
We often ship in multiple packages to serve you more quickly. So if you get some of your items,
most often, the others are shortly behind.
Location:
We are located in Marietta, Georgia, but we do not maintain a retail storefront for this merchandise.
If you are nearby, and your merchandise is in Marietta (sometimes is is drop-shipped by manufacturer),
it is sometimes possible to arrange to come to our Marietta location and pick up your merchandise
and save shipping expense and perhaps even get your merchandise sooner. Please contact us if this is possible to make arrangements.

Q: Do you ship heavy items such as animal cages, houses, kennels, etc?
A: YES! We do ship those items, the cost is determined by the table below.
Q: What items won't you ship?
A: We do not ship glass aquariums or heavy aquarium stands, and encourage local pickup of these items in Marietta,
Georgia.
Due to the large number and variety of products we offer (22,000+), we are currently unable to know the precise shipping weight for every item. We have instituted Table Rates for shipping costs, based on the total order price.

Items we do not ship
We do not ship glass aquariums or heavy aquarium stands, and encourage local pickup of these items in Marietta, Georgia.
Returns:
If your merchandise does not work, or has a problem, please contact us immediately,
and provide your email address, your name, your order number, and your phone number. You
must contact us within 14 days of the order getting to you or your address. We will need
to communicate with you in order to determine the best course of action. Returns that
are accepted will be eligible for even exchange, or store credit.
Return Policy:
If you receive a damaged shipment, you must report it to us within 14 days of your receipt of the shipment. We will file a damage claim with the carrier and send you instructions via email on what to do with the damaged item. Once the damage is confirmed by the carrier or claim honored, we will ship a relacement or refund your payment. If you receive a defective item, you must report it to us within 14
days of your receipt of the shipment. We will send you instructions via email regarding returns and arrange for reshipment, even exchange, or store credit. A return must be authorized in advance. Do not refuse a shipment unless we authorize it in advance. If you receive an order but decide not to keep it within 14 days of your receipt and there is nothing wrong with the shipment, you may return it to us but you must pay for the return shipping plus the original shipping charge plus
a 20% restocking fee.
We inspect every product before shipping, so if the item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately.
Do not refuse shipments.
Cancellation Policy:
Any order may be canceled at any time if the order has not been shipped. Payment will be refunded or
you may request a store credit. If an order has been shipped, please refer to the return policy.
Refunds:
If you paid by credit or debit card, our merchant bank will mark your payment or refund
your credit/debit card account in the name of King of Swords. If you made your purchase
from one of our affiliated businesses such as King of Ponds or Empire Pets, this is the name that will appear on your credit card statement. Please scrutinize your credit card bill carefully for this name and
the amount of your purchase. Refunds usually appear on the credit card statement in the credit card
cycle that begins after your order has been placed with us, or the one thereafter. That means if you place
an order in January, your refund will likely appear in your credit card statement in February or March.
Sale Items
Please note that items marked at a sale price on the site are considered a FINAL sale.
Drop Shipping:
We have recently decided to offer drop shipping services to our customers completely free of charge. We encourage your
feedback and suggestions on this system while we gauge its overall appeal and feature set, and plan for the future.
Current Features:
Store up to 20 different ship-to addresses in your address book at a time
Blind packing slips (no product cost information will appear with package)
Ability to track order status though our web site and via e-mail
USPS and UPS tracking numbers
Current Limitations:
At this time we are using a generic ship from address on packages
Tracking numbers will be provided to your Bill-to account. It is your responsibility to pass tracking number onto your drop
ship customers.

In an effort to protect our customers and aid the FBI in Cyber Crime Prevention, we have developed a sophisticated and powerful ANTI-FRAUD PROGRAM. Our program utilizes the latest in anti-fraud profiling technology.
Information received - voluntarily and involuntarily - during fraudulent or suspicious credit card activity is tracked and stored in our database. Geographical, habitual, and other profile information is then analyzed by sophisticated software in a multitude of ways.
The information processed which relates to fraudulent activity is used to prevent further criminal acts as well as aid authorities in the apprehension of criminals.
